Believe it or not, Halloween is one of the most favorite holidays couples choose for a themed wedding. Sounds a bit cliche, but setting a theme like Halloween gives a lot of freedom and creativity to those lovebirds who enjoy being out of the ordinary, far from traditional, and eager for some spooky fun. It’s also a great date for a fall wedding.
Bridesmaids in black? Bride and groom in dark colors? Well, why not. Some couples even insist on it being an all-the-way costume party, with masks, costumes, scary make up, and definitely no priest 🙂 A spooky Halloween wedding might also be perfect if you don’t want to get married in church. An alternative spot for the ceremony, if you really want to freak people out, could be the local cemetery. As crazy as it sounds, people have done it and survived.
You don’t have to be as extreme if you’re not a huge fan of costumes and horror at its best. You can simply stick to the scary ornamental details, pumpkins, witch cupcakes, black candles, spiderwebs, vampire teeth, and skeletons.
No one would turn down a pumpkin shaped cupcake with dipped in dark chocolate.
Who would have thought that black and orange go so great together.
